MWCGC Circuit School
(posted
8/23/07)
The MWCGC Circuit School held on August 19th was a smashing success! Tommy Keenum,
Keith Potter and Alan Spaeth presented clinics at all levels to rave reviews from our
instructors. Member units were also provided Private Consultations on their show
ideas for 2008. They received feedback on concepts, music selections, color schemes
and costumes. Thanks to Dave Schliewe for providing photos of this event and
assisting with the consultations. The Circuit also thanks Lincolnway East High
School Music Boosters for hosting this event.

Director of Training, Gary Czapinski announced that in the past, the MWCGC had the
largest school in the nation and is pleased that the Circuit is once again providing
this superior educational opportunity to its members. He plans to expand the school
in the coming years to include sessions for the performers as well.

McCormick's Enterprises, Arlington Heights, IL (posted 1/4/07)
McCormick's Enterprises, located in Arlington Heights, has been a major supplier to marching bands,
drum corps, color guards and music educators for almost 40 years. Our sales growth has now created
an immediate opening in Inside Sales. The successful candidate will take great care of our customers,
be able to master the varied product line and work well with the rest of the team. Most of our
associates have a background in music or the marching activity, but that is not a requirement.
Travel is limited to a few trade shows a year. We offer complete training, a competitive salary
(not commission-based), a generous bonus program and excellent vacation and health benefits.
Interested in joining a company where the dress code is casual but the passion for music is serious?
