Lincoln-Way SA wins WGI Silver Medal !!

Eleven MWCGC units at 2010 WGI !
There were eleven MWCGC units at WGI this year, and all of them were wonderful on and off the floor,
reflecting the positive spirit of their units, the MWCGC, and the Winter Guard activity...
Lincoln-Way HS and Naperville Central HS competed in prelims on April 8 .....
Both Lincoln-Way HS and Naperville Central HS made semi-finals and finals on April 9, and in the Scholastic A Finals, .....
Naperville Central HS finished with a score of 86.65, and .....
Lincoln-Way HS SA won the Silver Medal with a score of 97.35 ..... CONGRATULATIONS !!
Armada , Cadets of South Shore , and Velocity competed in prelims on April 8, and
Velocity and Cadets of South Shore made semi-finals .. CONGRATULATIONS !!
Lake Central HS, LaPorte HS, and Lake Park HS all competed in prelims .....
Lake Central HS made semi-finals ..... and in the Scholastic Open Finals, Lake Central HS placed fourth with a score of 92.8 ..... CONGRATULATIONS !!
Independence and South Shore Drill Team competed in prelims on April 8 .. CONGRATULATIONS !!
Marian Catholic HS , last year's WGI Gold Medal winner in Scholastic Open Class, competed this year in Scholastic World Class prelims , taking eighth place ......
in semi-finals, Marian Catholic moved up to sixth place, and in Scholastic World Class finals ...... Marian Catholic moved up to fifth place !!

ALLEGIANCE Color Guards - A New Independent Program For Northern Illinois
Are you in the northern Illinois area and looking to participate in a competitive color guard? Or perhaps you´re a senior in a high school winter guard and you´re looking to continue color guard after graduation? Then look no further! Allegiance Color Guard (ages 14-22) and Allegiance "Cadets" Color Guard (ages 7-13) are sponsored by Allegiance Youth Performing Arts Organization based in Dundee, Illinois. Membership is open to both male and female youth from Dundee, neighboring communities and beyond. Both color guards will perform in parades in the summer and MWCGC and WGI sanctioned events in the winter. Auditions for the Winter Guards will be held in September 2010, however, you don't have to wait to join in on the fun. Rehearsals for Summer Guard begin in April 2010!

When winterguard is done, do you wish you could spin more in the summer? Then you are what we are looking for!! Pioneer Drum & Bugle Corps is looking for girls 14-21 to join our color guard. We are located in Milwaukee, WI, and we are a world class drum corps.
