So you want to become a MidWest Color Guard Circuit
Member??
Here is step-by-step what you need to do:
Step #1- Download the
Membership form

Step #2- Fill out the
Membership form and mail it to Linda L. Koutsogianis, Treasurer.
If you have any
questions about information asked for on the Membership form, please email or
call Mickey Stisher, Howie Mogil or Marie Czapinski. Their contact info
can be found on the "Contacts" link over at the left.
Step #3-
Payment of New Member Fees Total $400
Fees for a New Member
Unit are a total of $400 which includes $300 member fee which every unit pays
plus the $100 surety bond. This should be paid to the MidWest Color Guard
Circuit and should be sent along with your membership form to Linda L. Koutsogianis
prior to your first performance. (Your surety bond will be transferred
from year to year as long as you stay in good standing in the circuit and do not
cancel scheduled performances at any shows. If your unit completes all contests that
you signed up for during the season but you will not be
continuing as a member of the Circuit in the next season, your surety bond will be returned to
you. If your unit at any time cancels a performance that you signed up
for, your surety bond will be forfeited to the show host school and you will be
required to pay another surety bond before your unit can perform again.
Please check the MWCGC By-Laws to see reasons for missing scheduled performances
that will NOT forfeit your surety bond.)
Step #4- That's
it!
Once Linda L. Koutsogianis
has received your Membership form and your New Member dues, then you are now
considered a member unit of the Circuit! Linda will then be asking you to
download and send or fax additional forms and information which can be downloaded
from the Director's Corner area of our website. She will also be needing a roster of all members with names, addresses, birthdates and email
addresses for our database ONLY and she will need an insurance certificate to show proof that your unit
is insured. Once she has received all the necessary forms and information
from your unit prior to the first competition weekend, you are ready to begin
competing in our circuit!
For any questions on membership,
email Linda Koutsogianis or
Howie Mogil.
